Humberto Castro

In 2010, Humberto officially decided to follow his true passion and committed himself fully to a career in the film industry. He quickly began to demonstrate his multifaceted talents as an actor, screenwriter and filmmaker through his work in several short films. His dedication eventually culminated in the creation of his first feature-length film, El Sueño (2016), a project loosely based on his own lived experiences as a former undocumented immigrant navigating life in the United States. In 2023, Humberto advanced his acting career significantly by joining SAG-AFTRA after becoming eligible through a small, but noteworthy, supporting role in the action-thriller film Snag (2023), distributed by Paramount Pictures. The following year he landed a major supporting role in A Long Road to Tao (2024), an award-winning film based on Michael Allen's book, Tao of Surfing.
